General Informations and Recomendations
 

1. You should be at the Marcos Gelabert airport in Albrook at 5:00 in the morning; late arrivals will lose their air reservation. Sapibenega will not make refunds if you miss your plane.

2. At the check-in counter you will be asked to present your passport or your government ID.

3. The airplane that brings you to Playon Chico can make a couple of landings before arriving there. Please make sure that you are in Playon Chico community before getting off the plane.

4. On our visits to Playon Chico community, we suggest you use long trousers. Shorts are prohibited in the Congress house.

5. We have a cooperative tip system; please place all tips in the tips box, located in the dinning room hall, and this will be divided between all guides equally.

6. Program may change depending on weather. the maximum number of guests for our excursions will be 12 people according to the requirements of the local authorities.

7. Please, follow the instructions carefully, when using the composting toilets (Clivus Multrum).

8. Any change, delay or cancellation of flights will ONLY be responsibility of the airline.

9. The Kuna law forbids tourist the entry of liquors into the Comarca (community).

10. We recommend our visitors not to hand coins or candy in the community, instead, if you desire to make a contribution to the Kuna community, please contact our reservations office. Annually, on December, we make a celebration where we give presents to the children of our community. If you wish to support us, clothes, toys or others are welcome and appreciated bringing joy upon our children

11. In case you want to purchase handicrafts, we suggest you to buy them in the community's main square where you will find the Kuna craftwomen with samples of their beautiful handicrafts.

12. Please do not take photographs directly to the people in the community.

13. If you want to make and optional tour, please notify it to us previously.

14. Due to the little load capacity of the planes, adults luggage may not exceed the limit of 20 pounds per person, and children 10, including handbags and

15. The overweight will be charged by the airline to the passenger.

16. Please do not smoke in  Sapibenega  lodge.

17. We suggest you to take:

*   four t-shirt,

*  tennis shoes,

*  two long trousers,

*  two shorts,

*  bath suit,

*  sunblock,

*  off for mosquito,

*  a hat,

*  a towel,

*  jungle boot,

*  two long shirts

18.  It is VERY IMPORTANT that you inform previously our reservations office, your tour operator or travel agency about your possible allergies to some foods or special dietary requirements.

19. Please note that all extra charges must be paid in cash at Sapibenega, no credit cards or travelers checks are accepted when you're in the lodge.

20. You are in an ecological lodge we would appreciate your co-operation keeping ecology. Please read all of the recommendations carefully, paying special attention to the instructions for use of the composting toilets.

21. Our hotel is not responsible for any accidents that may happen to our guests.

22. The guests are liable for any damages that they cause to the equipment or facilities of the hotel.

23. Our hotel is not responsible for objects or money that our guests leave at the hotel after their departure.
